The grammar V-(으)ㄹ 수 있다/없다 is used to express ability, possibility, or permission. -ㄹ 수 있다: This is used when someone has the ability or when something is possible. -ㄹ 수 없다: This is used when someone lacks the ability or when something is impossible. It is similar to "can/can't" in English. How to Use It 1. If the verb stem ends with a vowel or ‘ㄹ’ Rule: Verb stem + ㄹ 수 있다/없다 Example: 가다 → 갈 수 있다 "I can go to Busan tomorrow." → 저는 내일 부산에 갈 수 있어요. "I can't eat spicy food." → 매운 음식을 먹을 수 없어요.
