Core Egyptian Arabic Words That Differ From MSA
I speak MSA at a professional level and will now be in Egypt for a long time. Therefore, my goal is to take the next 2-3 months to dive into ECA, but most resources seem to be designed for learners who are starting from zero.
Does anyone know of a list of common ECA words that are different from MSA? Thank you very much.

بدأة قراءة "التربية الوطنية" كما جهد على المدى البعيد
ما زلت أتذكر استكشاف كتاب عندما كنت أصغر ويسمى الكتاب "الطفولة والمجتمع" من عالم النفس الشهير اريك اريكسون. كان مستوى الكتاب صعب جدن لي ولكن استمرت لخمس شهر حتى فهمت كل فقرة. مرة ثانية لقد وجدت كتاب صعب جدن لي مستواي اسمه "التربية الوطنية" وهو جزء من المنهج الدراسي الوطني في الأردن. اعتقد انني ساحتاج ستة او ثمانية شهور قبل ان افهمه ولكن اتعلم كثير من المفردات ونظرة جديدة عن البلد الذي أعيش فيه حتى لو كان الكتاب هو المفاهيمي.
نبدأ مع ثلاثة مفاهم من عاماء النفس الاجتماعي التي يعتبرها الكاتب مفيذة بفهم تربية الوطنية. وبين المفاهيم توجد حيوان مكاني وحيوان اجتماعي وحيوان سياسي. قال الكاتب انّ مجتمعات تطوّر مؤسسات ومفاهيم كما أداة من أدوات الذي يربط هؤلاء الناس ونظم اجتماعية واقتصادية وثقافية.

Is there any rule for when to use ONLY 'bi' and 'fi'?
I understand that 'bi' and 'fi' are often interchangeable, meaning that both can be used correctly. However there are many situations when only one can be used.
Do you have any advice for how to recognize those situations where only 'bi' or only 'fi' is appropriate?

I'm having trouble translating these two sentences. Can anyone lend some advice?
"This work must be done as part of a long-term dialogue between cultures. I want to translate what people at home wish that foreign Islamic communities knew about America, and I want my country to start seeing Islamic history and society in a new light."
يجب أن يكتمل هذا العمل بوصفه جزءاً من حوار طويل الأمد بين الثقافتين. أريد أن أشارك ما يريدُ أبناء بلدي من المجتمعات الإسلامية معرفته عن أمريكا، وكذلك أريدُ أن يبدأ بلدي في النظر في التاريخ والمجتمع الإسلاميين في ضوء جديد.

How do you "conquer" "reclaim" or "capture" a concept in Arabic?
I'm writing a piece that argues for a need to reclaim the American narrative of Islam, but I want to properly use a much stronger word than 'reclaim.' I'm looking for a word that implies 'overtaking' or 'capturing' the conversation. 'Changing' or 'redefining' are not strong enough.
Any ideas?
