Hey, I'm also practicing reading right now. I recommend reading one of the harry potter books, if you're just getting started on kanji and stuff. They all are books designed for elementary school kids to read, so they got a lot of furigana in them! Other books with furigana are mangas, but that gets expensive after some time when you get faster at reading. I also tried it once with children's stories but let's be honest, it's just not interesting to read. Novels are really hard to read, but if you're already good at kanji, I love to read manga novels(I don't know what to call them, it's just manga written as novels)! It's easier often because if you know the manga you already know the plot for most (my favorite manga novels are the ones of Gintama). Hope I could help you!

こんにちは、私はサラです。２７年３月から日本にいるけどもうすぐオーストリアに帰らなければなりません。すごく寂しくなりますよ。日本語はまだあまり自信を持っていないので帰国してからitalkiで勉強を続けたいです。今高校一年生だけれど、オーストリアでわざわざ一年を繰り返すことにしました。直接二年生になったら一番下手な教科の数学で本当に困るはずだから。日本は佐賀県に住んでいます。まだ帰ってきていないから最後の一ヵ月ぐらいなるべく楽しく過ごしたいんです。佐賀はほとんど何もないけど。てか、たぶん大人になったら日本に帰りたいので、日本語の勉強はこれから頑張ります！よろしくお願いします。
