I had presentation today and I made an effort to speak without watching script. There were tests in today’s all class, so I’m very tired. I want to go home soon. But there is more class only today. I want to deside a plan for summer vacation because summer vacation is clased. However, I am really busy, I can’t do it.

I could not go to school for a while, but today I went to school from the second period. However, I found out just before class that it was canceled. I was already at school, so I had to spend about an hour there. But I could drink a new Starbucks drink, so I think it was good in the end.
Recently, I have not been able to work much because it is winter, and I really miss my coworkers. Sometimes we go out for drinks together, but meeting everyone at work has been my main motivation recently. I want to work even if I do not get much money.
Soon, we will have a drinking party to celebrate someone who recently turned 20. It will be my first time going out with this group, so I am really excited. After that, I will also go out for drinks with some university friends I have never gone out with before. I am really looking forward to both events.
I have a class in the first period tomorrow, so I will go to bed early and get ready for tomorrow. The day after tomorrow, I want to buy some new nail products. I also want to get eyelash extensions, but I may not have enough money, so I will just make my nails look cute for now.

How to order like a local in Japan🇯🇵
When you are at a cafe or restaurant, you don't need long sentences!
"~ o onegaishimasu." (〜をおねがいします / [Item name] please.)
Example: "Kohi o onegaishimasu."
(コーヒーをおねがいします / Coffee, please.)☕️
"Kore wa nan desu ka?" 🤔
(これはなんですか? / What is this?)
"Oishii desu!" (おいしいです! / It’s delicious!)
The best way to show the staff you are enjoying your meal!🍜🍣🍱
💬Quick Challenge:
If you were at a cafe right now, what would you order? Write it in the comments!

What is the schwa sound?
There's a sound in English that has its own name: schwa, written /ə/. It's the quick, colourless "uh" that unstressed syllables collapse into — the most common sound in English, and almost always invisible on the page.
photograph /ˈfoʊtəɡræf/ vs photography /fəˈtɒɡrəfi/ — the stress moves, and that first syllable's full vowel collapses to schwa the moment it's no longer stressed.
Same thing happens mid-sentence, not just in single words:
"She's a musician in an orchestra." — not "shun," but "shən"
You'll also hear it at the end of everyday words like teacher, learner, helper — never a strong "er," always something softer and shorter.
💬 Say "photograph" and "photography" out loud, back to back. Can you feel the stress jump — and the vowel go soft?
