Today, I worked at my part-time job and used the cash register. I was very tired. Unfortunately, I made a mistake while using it, so I felt a little disappointed. However, I learned from my mistake and will be more careful next time. I believe I can improve with more practice and experience.

It's really hard to describe today's weather in my hometown. In the morning, the temperature dropped to near zero degress celsius. After puting on down coat, it turned warm. Around the noon, it's cloudy again and began to rain, then sleeted. So, a downcoat might be the very correct choice. Now, guess what the weather like? It's sunny and hot outside. The fresh air mixes with the smell from soil tells us that it's winter. The smell really make me feel relaxed. I hope the weather never change again. I hope it's the last time of wearing my downcoat in this season. I just washed it and put it away in the closet a few days ago.A good news is that the weather forecast shows that it' will be sunny and warm in the next few days. I can enjoy a fantastic week. The weathers in spring are really like kids. You never know when they will smile or cry, but they are so cute and worth spending time with them.

Today, I overslept, but I still made it to my part-time job on time. I worked at a wedding reception, so it was a fun experience. Recently, I have been working a lot, so I feel very tired. Tomorrow, I have to go back to school, and I am not looking forward to it.

"Cookies and cream" How would you pronounce this? Many native speakers would actually not pronounce the word "and" clearly, but rather substitute it with a "'n" sound. This is common in English, as it is in other stress-timed languages.
