Здравствуйте. Это девятый эпизод подкаста «Глубинный народ», взгляд на культуру России из провинции.

На странице 42 книги Primitive Secret Societies by Webster я прочитал о секретных мужских языках. Лично я считаю, что существует русский мужской язык.

В моём селе, если на улице встречаются трое-пятеро мужчин, они начинают разговаривать «за жизнь». Каждый старается казаться умнее и остроумнее, чем он обычно есть. И мудрые мысли и виртуозное владение языком порадуют внимательного слушателя. Не всегда, конечно. Но ведь «мудрость народная» недаром упоминается в гимне России.

И да, собеседники обильно посыпают свою речь матом. Делают это они не потому, что они злы, хотят кого-то унизить или одержимы сексом. Некоторые шутники называют мат «определёнными артиклями». Это не однообразные f bombs. Искусный русский мат высоко ценится.

Так вот, я считаю мат мужским языком. Это речь настоящего мужЫка, непременно с буквой Ы после Ж.

К сожалению, в наши дни можно чаще чем раньше слышать мат от женщин и школьников. Это шокирует мужчин моего поколения и воспитания. Уходит эпоха...

On her first day at a new school, Sara was nervous. The computer suddenly stopped working in the middle of her lesson, and the students started whispering. Without panicking, she smiled, grabbed a marker, and turned the lesson into a game on the board. The students got excited and joined in. After class, another teacher said, “Wow, you were really on the ball.”
Sara laughed and said, “I had to be — teaching always keeps you on your toes.”


Tom works in an office. One morning, his boss asks for a report.
Tom already has the information ready. He answers quickly and fixes a small mistake.
The boss smiles and says,
“Good job, Tom. You’re really on the ball today.”

Idiom : "On the ball” means alert, quick to understand, and doing your job well.

If you are on the ball, you:
pay attention
understand quickly
react fast be
are prepared

Examples:
Our new teacher is really on the ball — she noticed the mistake immediately.
You have to be on the ball in this job; things change fast.

Uno de los grandes educadores de México en los años de transición entre los siglos XIX y XX fue el humanista Justo Sierra Méndez, fundador de la Universidad Nacional de México, actual UNAM. Se distinguió por sus ideas positivistas de libertad, orden y progreso que proyectó en la educación mexicana del Porfiriato. Gran escritor y pedagogo de los textos escolares para los niños mexicanos, a quienes inculcó el "amor a la patria".  sus ideas educativas  impulsaron la libertad, el orden y el progreso en la mentalidad de las nuevas generaciones que hicieron la nueva Revolución política y social, que señaló el cambio hacia la modernización de México en el mundo contemporáneo.
En el año 1910, el Maestro Justo Sierra, Ministro de Instrucción Pública de México, creó la Escuela Nacional de Altos Estudios, para la formación de los profesores que requerían las escuelas profesionales; y perfeccionaría la educación superior mexicana a través de las investigaciones científicas en los campos de las humanidades, las ciencias exactas y las ciencias naturales. Y, también fundó la Universidad Nacional de México, la cual inauguró el 22 de septiembre de 1910, en la conmemoración del Centenario de la Revolución de Independencia de México.

La Universidad Nacional de México se conformó con las escuelas Preparatoria, de Jurisprudencia, Medicina, Ingeniería, Bellas Artes y Altos Estudios. Desde entonces se convirtió en el "Alma Mater" de la cultura mexicana. Posteriormente se reorganizó como Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, la más grande de América Latina, y una de las más importantes del Mundo. Su primer Rector fue el Dr. Joaquín Eguía Lis. Otro de sus grandes Rectores fue el humanista José Vasconcelos, el autor de la obra "Raza Cósmica", cuya idea "Por mi raza hablará el espíritu", se convirtió en el lema de la Universidad.
