ときどき、駅前の古びた100均に立ち寄る。あの場所は、まるで並行世界の小さな倉庫のようだ。棚にきちんと並べられた無数の商品は、別の宇宙から届いた小さな隕石のように、それぞれ固有の輝きを放っている。プラスチックのケース、木製のマドラー、色とりどりのクリップ──それらはどれも、たった100円という呪文ひとつで手に入る小さな奇跡だ。私は透明な買い物カゴを片手に、まるで銀河の中を遊泳する宇宙飛行士のように棚の間を漂い歩く。そして気がつくと、生きていくための道具だけでなく、自分の心の奥で眠っていた、微細な希望のかけらまで拾い集めているのだ。

夜、眠る前に家の周りを歩くのが習慣になった。住宅街は、昼間の喧騒とはまったく別の顔を見せる。街灯の下、舗道に伸びた影が薄く揺れているのを眺めていると、自分がどこか透明な存在になったような気がする。遠くで犬が一度だけ吠え、すぐに沈黙の湖に吸い込まれる。私はゆっくりと呼吸を整え、夜の静寂を肺の奥にまで染み込ませる。その静けさは、心の表面に積もった微細な埃をそっと拭い取ってくれるようで、世界に対して少しだけ優しくなれる気がするのだ。

昼休み、時々訪れる古い中華料理店がある。四角い赤い椅子と、長年使い込まれたステンレスのテーブル。店主は無口で、まるで沈黙の中に住む仙人のような風貌だ。そこで食べる激辛麻婆豆腐は、最初の一口で私の舌を赤く染め上げ、二口目で時間感覚を奪っていく。辛さはまるで火星の砂嵐のように舌の上を暴れ回り、同時に、日々の停滞した気持ちをどこか遠くに追い払ってくれる。汗が額をつたう頃、私はなぜかいつも、自分の内側に眠っている小さな情熱が再び目を覚ますのを感じるのだ。

朝の満員電車は、ときに圧力鍋のように思える。誰かの肩が押し寄せ、見知らぬ息がすぐ横で温度を帯びる。その混沌の中で、私が頼りにしているのは、静かな呼吸法だ。ひとつ吸い込むたびに、体の中心に細い光が灯り、吐き出すたびにその光がゆっくりと広がっていく。まるで心臓の奥に小さな炉を抱えているような感覚だ。周囲のざわめきや圧迫が、自分の身体の輪郭を曖昧にしていくほど、呼吸は逆に私をこの世界に結びつけるロープになる。そうして駅に着く頃には、不思議と心身の重心がほんの少しだけ整えられている。

「东京的生活」

我偶尔会顺路走进车站前那家老旧的一百日元商店。那地方仿佛是通往平行世界的小仓库。架子上整整齐齐摆放着无数商品，就像从另一个宇宙飘来的小陨石，各自散发着独特的光芒。塑料盒、木制搅拌棒、五颜六色的回形针——这些东西只要一个“百元”的咒语就能得到，像小小的奇迹一般。我提着透明的购物篮，像在银河中游泳的宇航员一样，在货架之间悠然漂行。然后我发现，自己不仅拾起了生活所需的工具，也顺便拾起了心底某处沉睡着的微弱希望碎片。

夜里，睡前在家附近散步成了习惯。住宅区在夜晚呈现出与白日喧嚣完全不同的面貌。在路灯下，看着投在地上的影子轻轻摇动，我仿佛成了一种透明的存在。远处的狗吠了一声，随即被吸进寂静的湖中。我慢慢调整呼吸，让夜晚的静谧渗入肺的深处。那份静默仿佛轻轻拂去心表堆积的细微灰尘，让我觉得自己能对这个世界温柔一些。

午休时，我偶尔会去一家老式的中餐馆。方形的红色椅子，使用多年的不锈钢桌子。店主寡言少语，仿佛住在沉默中的仙人。那里供应的超辣麻婆豆腐，第一口就将我的舌头染成鲜红，第二口便夺走了时间感。辣意仿佛火星的沙尘暴在舌面上肆虐，同时也把日常停滞的情绪吹到遥远的地方。当汗水顺着额头滑落时，我总会感觉内心深处沉睡的小小热情再次苏醒。

早晨的满员电车有时像一口高压锅。某人的肩膀挤了过来，陌生的呼吸在耳边带着温度。在这样的混乱中，我所依靠的是平静的呼吸法。每吸一口气，身体中心便亮起一束细光；每吐一口气，那束光便慢慢扩散开来。仿佛在心脏深处怀抱着一座小小的炉火。周围的喧哗和拥挤逐渐模糊了身体的轮廓，而我的呼吸反而成为把我和世界连结起来的绳索。等电车到站时，身心的重心已悄然被重新调整了一些。

怎么学好一门语言？How do we master a language?

Life's too short to read the small print, right? The small print, sometimes called the "fine print" is the name for the terms and conditions you find on websites, contracts and other documents.

The size of the text is often a little smaller and there can be quite a lot of it. For these reasons, some of us don't read it all — even though we know it can be very important.

A company from the UK decided to test how many people really do read the small print.

The company, called Tax Policy Associates, hid a little surprise in the privacy policy on its website, offering to send a nice bottle of wine to anyone who read it.

It was the idea of company founder Dan Neidle. He wrote in the policy: "We will send a bottle of good wine to the first person to read this."

The policy was posted online in February, but the company was only contacted about the wine in May!

He told the BBC that it was a "childish protest" because "all businesses have to have a privacy policy" even though no one reads them.

Neidle added: "Every tiny coffee shop has to have a privacy policy on their website, it's crazy."

He said that the person who found the sentence about the wine had been writing their own privacy policy, and they were looking for examples.

That lucky person was sent a bottle of French red wine and the sentence offering the free wine has now been taken out of the policy!
