In this post, I reflect on the early days of fatherhood and one big mistake I made when setting expectations for life with a newborn. I share some honest thoughts about the challenges of adjusting to a completely new lifestyle and offer advice for new or expecting parents on how to better prepare mentally for the changes ahead—while also highlighting the joy that comes with it.
