今年もあっという間に4月になりましたね！
早いですね！

時間が流れるのが早いことを、
光陰矢の如し
と表現します。

これはことわざです。
光ー太陽
陰ー月
弓矢の矢が飛ぶように早い、あっという間
という意味です。

さて、世界では10月始まりのことが多いかもしれませんが、日本では4月始まりのことが多いです。

例えば、学校や会社がそうです。

日本では、4月に学校が一斉にはじまります。
だいたい4/8ぐらいに始業式があります。

始業式は学期が始まる日です。
学期ーsemester
です。

日本の学校では、
1学期(4〜7月)
2学期(9〜12月)
3学期(1〜3月)
があります。
　
日本の会社では、4月から新しい年度がはじまります。
毎年4月に新入社員が入るので、入社式もあります。

このように日本では、
学校や会社が4月から新しい学年、年度などがはじまります。

なので、4月は新しい気持ちになったり、新しいことを始めたくなるシーズンです。

ぼくは、
英語の勉強と、
世界遺産の勉強を
がんばろうと思います！
