Esta semana les voy a platicar del paseo de Montejo, una de las principales avenidas de Mérida, Yucatán mientras usamos los interrogativos ¿Qué? ¿Cómo? ¿Cuándo? ¿Dónde? ¿Por qué? ¿Quién? ¿Cuál? ¿Cuáles?, ¿Cuánto?, ¿Cuántas? Y ¿Para quién?

Provincia: Ciudad o poblado que no es la capital del país.
Pasar el rato: Disfrutar un tiempo entre amigos o familia.

Calesa: Coche de dos ruedas, tirado por una caballería, con la caja abierta por delante y capota en la parte de atrás.
Yucateco: Persona que nació en Yucatán o tiene muchos años viviendo en Yucatán.
Turibus: autobús que te lleva a recorrer los principales lugares turísticos.
Helados Colon:  Lugar donde venden helados, es muy antiguo y famoso, todos los yucatecos lo han visitado alguna vez.

「食中毒（しょくちゅうどく）food poisoning、食物中毒」についてです。(3:20)


〈会話１〉ことば
【回転ずし（かいてんずし）】〈名詞〉 すしの店。レーン（lane）があって、皿にのったすしが店の中を回る。
【選択肢（せんたくし）】〈名詞〉 選べること。質問・問題に対（たい）する答え。選べるものがいくつかある。例）〇〇の　選択肢がある
【一択（いったく）】〈名詞〉 ひとつしか、それしか選（えら）べないこと。選（えら）べるものがひとつだけ。
【食中毒（しょくちゅうどく）】〈名詞〉　病気。悪いものがついた食べものを食べてしまってなる。食中毒になると、腹痛（ふくつう）や下痢（げり）、嘔吐（おうと）などの症状（しょうじょう）がある。
【リニューアル】〈名詞／する〉 renewal。お店などの中や外を新しくすること。
【オープニングスタッフ】〈名詞〉 新しいお店を開けるときのスタッフ。


〈会話へのコメント〉
回転寿司の店で、良い店なのになんでお客さんが少ないのかについて話している会話だった。
過去（かこ）の食中毒（しょくちゅうどく）事件（じけん）が原因（げんいん）だった。

食中毒（しょくちゅうどく）
・・・体に悪いものがついた食べものを食べちゃって、お腹（なか）が痛（いた）くなったり、食べたものを口から出す、吐（は）いちゃったりする病気。食べ物の店、飲食店（いんしょくてん）が食中毒を起（お）こす、お店の食べ物を食べたお客さんが食中毒になったとわかると、３日くらいの営業（えいぎょう）停止（ていし）処分（しょぶん）を受（う）ける。3日くらい店を休まなきゃいけない。

１回でも食中毒が起（お）きると、お客さんの信用（しんよう）はなくなる。
⇒お客さんたちは、あのお店は食中毒出したよ。こわいね。他の店に行こうってなっちゃう！

飲食店（いんしょくてん）で働いている人は、スタッフの手洗（てあら）い消毒（しょうどく）もだけど、キッチンでは、冷蔵庫（れいぞうこ）を開けたらすぐ閉めるとか、清掃（せいそう）もだし、すごく「食中毒」に気をつけている。

「食中毒」を出すと大きなニュースになる！

他の国では「食中毒」に対（たい）して、どう考えて、どうしてる？

I want to talk to you about two very often confused words advice and advise. 
Advice. 
- Advice is a noun, an uncountable noun.It is spelled a-d-v-i-c-e. The ‘c’ sounds like an ‘s’. Advice. It is used to mean a suggestion about what you should do. 
Advise
- 
Advise is spelled a-d-v-i-s-e, and is a verb. The ‘s’ sounds like a ‘z’. Advise. It means to suggest what should be done, to recommend or to give information to someone. 
The main difference between advice and advise is the grammar.  So obviously, you can't use a noun in the place of a verb or a verb in the place of a noun. So if you know which is which and which pronunciation goes with which, you will never get it wrong. But a big problem is with advice being uncountable. So many times I hear, can I give you an advice? No no… it to give me a piece of advice or some advice - depending on whether you mean something singular or plural.
In theory it is very simple to understand, but if you don’t pay attention to learning the rules it can make a  big difference to you getting it right or wrong in Business English.
Every day, I hear so many advanced speakers who use these words wrong. So have a look, learn it, fix it, never get it wrong again. That's it today. Bye.
