Politeness sweetens the agreement in expressions such as "I'd be happy to" and "that sounds wonderful," demonstrating eagerness to comply. A touch of wit adds a layer of humor to the affirmation, as seen in expressions like "in a New York minute" or "is the Pope Catholic?" In more refined circles, the upper class might communicate their agreement with endearing phrases like "absolutely, my dear" or "most assuredly," maintaining a level of warmth. For royalty, an affirmation is conveyed with grace and respect, as in "by all means, Your Majesty" or "it would be my honor, Your Highness," underscoring the formal nature of the response.
