Today on “Phrasal Verbs Gone Wild”, we’re talking about everyone’s favourite phrasal verb: “put off”.
When you “put off” something, you’re delaying it. You know, like when you “put off” doing laundry until you have literally no clothes left.
Or when you “put off” studying until the night before the exam, because who needs sleep anyway, right?

今日は「ずいぶん」の３つの使い方についてです。（6:11）

❶「長い時間」の意味
　・「ずいぶん／ずいぶん長い時間」、「ずいぶんして（から）」の言い方もある。
❷「たくさん（量、quantity）」の意味
　・「ずいぶん／ずいぶんたくさん」の言い方ができる。
❸「とても／すごく」の意味
　×「ずいぶんとても／すごく」の言い方はない。
　・感想を言うとき「ずいぶん～（です）ね」

きのう(2024年12月25日）、バイオリン教室のウインターコンサートがありました。
バイオリンで4曲の合奏をしました。
・パッフェルベル「カノン」
・モンティ　「チャールダッシュ」
・モーツアルト「アイネクライネナハトムジーク」
・バッハ「2つのバイオリンのための協奏曲」第1楽章
コンサートに向けて　毎日　短い時間でも　練習をしました。
私はこれまでの発表会ではいつもボロボロでした。でも、今回は違いました。
当日、完璧ではなかったけれども、コンサートで　うまく弾けました。それは、たくさん練習して自信ができたからだと思います。語学の学習も同じだと思います。練習をして　話してみる。うまく言えなければ、また練習して　トライする。それが　大切だと思います。みなさんの日本語学習も応援しています。
【ことば】
音がはずれる　go off key
ボロボロだ       In shambles, falling aprt
泣きたくなる   want to cry
付け焼刃（つけやきば）patchwork effort
完璧（かんぺき）perfect
飛ばす  skip
ごまかしながら  while faking it

Then, it's up to them whether they choose to get engaged if they believe that they have found the love of their life or go back home. Only after getting engaged do they actually get to meet each other. I do think it's a crazy way of searching for love.
