Korean Reading Practice for Beginners

Hello, everyone. Today, I would like to have a short talk about the phrases from "Minna no Nihongo" Chapter 1. When you say, "I’m from Japan, 日本から来ました," it sounds natural. However, if you are Thai and living in Thailand, saying "タイからきました" sounds very strange. The phrase "～からきました" implies that you are not currently in that place.

Perhaps in English, it would be fine for a Canadian in Canada to say 'I’m from Canada' in a setting with people from various countries. This highlights a subtle difference between Japanese and English.

みんなの日本語Chapter One　～からきました



こんばんは！Atsushiです。
皆さん元気ですか？
北海道はどんどん寒くなってきました。

今日は、最近考えている事について話します。
今、僕は外国語ガイド研修と言うものをオンラインで受けています。海外の方が日本へ旅行に来た時に、個人でガイドをしたいなと考えています。

この研修で学ぶ内容は、
ガイドの役割
カスタマーサービス
下見やガイドプラン
リスクマネジメント、感染症、事故への対策
日本文化や生活様式
日本文化を説明するボキャブラリー
食習慣の違い
観光資源の世界自然遺産、文化遺産
アイヌ文化

などについて学びます。
とてもおもしろい研修です。

そして、ガイドとして、何をしようか考えています。
まずは、住んでいる地域の自然、千歳川を歩くガイドをしてみたいと考えています。

千歳川は支笏湖しこつこから流れる川です。
千歳市から石狩市まで流れる川で、透き通っていて、とても綺麗な川です。関西から引っ越してきた僕にとっては、特別な川です。ランニングはいつも川沿いを走ります。

そして、千歳川を少しくだると、鮭の生態を学ぶことができる、サケのふるさと館というのがあります。
前も話したかもしれませんが、ここの水族館はおもしろくて、千歳川の流れを水族館でガラス越しに見ることができます。このような水族館は、日本でもここだけみたいです。この千歳川には秋には鮭が遡上そじょうと言って、産卵の為に川を登ってきます。僕も実際に見ましたが、たくさんの鮭が川にいて、圧巻でした。

こんな風に、自然を体感できたり、サケのことを水族館で学ぶことができたり、個人的にはとてもおもしろい場所だなと思います。

海外の方に、北海道の新千歳空港について1番初めのショートガイドのような形で千歳を楽しんでもらえたら嬉しいです。

ちょっと長くなりましたが、今、そんなことを考えながら、千歳川沿いをランニングしています。
