おはようございます。日本語だんだんポットキャストのゆかりです。

今日は信号(しんごう)のはなしです。

日本にも、世界にも、どこにでも信号はありますね。

青(あお)は、すすんでいい。

赤(あか)はとまらないといけないですね。

ところで、信号の色は何色ですか？

日本の信号は、

赤、青、黄色(きいろ)です。

えっ、でも信号の色って、

青じゃなくて、みどりじゃない？

日本に来たことがある人は、そう思うかもしれません。

いいところに、気がつきましたね。

たしかに、色はみどりなんですが、

私たちは、赤、青、黄色といいます。

これは、いろいろな理由(りゆう)があるのですが、
昔(むかし)は、青色のことを緑色といっていたから、だそうです。

ほかにも、緑色だけど、"青"ということはあります。

たとえば、緑色のりんごは、
"青りんご"といいます。

"青々(あおあおとした)葉っぱ"

"青汁を飲む"

なども、そうですね。

みなさんの、国の信号の色はなんですか？

日本とおなじで、赤、青、黄色ですか？

「このお手々にちょうどいい手袋ください」
すると帽子屋さんは、おやおやと思いました。
狐の手です。狐の手が手袋をくれと言うのです。
これはきっと木の葉で買いに来たんだな
と思いました。そこで、
「先にお金をください」
と言いました。
子狐は すなおに、握って来た白銅貨を
二つ帽子屋さんに渡しました。
帽子屋さんはそれを人差指の さきにのっけて、
カチ合せて見ると、よい音がしましたので、
これは木の葉じゃない、ほんとのお金だ
と思いましたので、棚から子供用の毛糸の手袋を
とり出してきて子狐の手に持たせてやりました。
子狐は、お礼を言って
また、もと来た道を帰りはじめました。
