Hey Guys, this is Chinese teacher Cara, welcome to my Channel, today we’ll go through some useful expressions about covid. 嗨大家好，我是Cara, 欢迎收听我的频道，今天想跟大家一起讨论关于新冠病毒的一些常用表达。 So we already know covid in Chinese is 新冠xīn guàn.In Chinese we have two verbs to pair with covid when we talk about it. Have 得dé / catch感染gǎn rǎn I have covid.我得了新冠。wǒ dé le xīn guàn。/我感染了新冠。wǒ gǎn rǎn le xīn guàn。 I hasn't gotten covid yet: 我还没有感染新冠。wǒ hái méi yǒu gǎn rǎn xīn guàn。 I am well now./ I’m over it.我现在好了。wǒ xiàn zài hǎo le。 But in daily life we have more colloquial expression, you can use the vocabulary 阳。 I have covid. 我阳了。（colloquial） I had covid last month. 我上个月阳过了。（过means sth you‘ve experienced in the past） I hasn't gotten covid yet.我还没有阳。（colloquial） I am well now. 我阳康了。wǒ yáng kāng le。（colloquial，康is 康复recover） We’ll talk about symptom in the next show.
