Critical Interview Prep Mistakes You Can’t Afford to Make!

1. FOcusing too much on technical skills. While technical skills are essential, employers value soft skills that demonstrate your ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the company’s success.

2. Responsed to questions are too generic.  Sure you can use the S.T.A.R. method but remember to touch the interviewers with emotions. Facts tell but stories sell. Use emotions!

Last but not least, a crucial, yet often overlooked aspect of interview preparation is aligning your values and goals with the company’s mission, vision, and values. Demonstrating this alignment effectively showcases your suitability and strengthens your candidacy.
