Having trouble actually using what you learn in Chinese lessons? You're not alone! It's a very common stage: everything sounds clear in the lesson, but when it's time to use it, the words just don't come out. This is a gap between "understanding" and "using" — and it's completely normal. Here are 3 simple things you can do to close it: 1. Make your own sentences the same day. After each lesson, take what you learned but can't use naturally yet, and write 3 sentences about YOUR own life — not textbook examples. 2. Say them out loud. Read them aloud or record yourself. Speaking out builds confidence faster than just reading. 3. Bring them to your next lesson and ask your teacher to check. Having your teacher correct them turns those words into words you can actually use. Keep these habits up, and they'll go a long way toward helping you actually speak what you've learned. 😊
