Hello everyone đ
âïžJapanese people sometimes donât always express their opinions clearly. We often talk to others in a roundabout way. That's Because Japanese people sometimes feel like it is rude to express opinions too directly.
âïžFor example when you have a friend who is not studying. How do you tell your friend ways to raise their grades? I wouldn't tell him directly, but would instead tell him how he can improve his grades in subtle ways. However itâs difficult not to be able to tell him what my opinion is in a clear way.
âïžJapanese people have two emotions which are âprivate opinionâ and âpublic stanceâ . We don't talk clearly because we don't want to have confrontation.
âïžOur feelings are sometimes different what we actually say. This is what makes Japanese relationships so complicated.
Thatâs why I might tell him that to study hard clearly even if he hates me.
