I come from Hunan province, located in southern China, renowned for many historical scenic spots and magnificent scenery like Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the ancient city of Phoenix, and many halls of fame like Chairman Mao. I'm so proud of my city, Yueyang, for it is known for the essay The Yueyang Tower written by FanZhongyan. He expressed his feelings of patriotism for the whole country and concern for people, whose spirits motivated Chinese people all the time. Besides, Dongting Lake, rich in natural beauty and cultural splendors, appears many times in classical Chinese poetry. What's more, Hunan cuisine is one of the eight major cuisines of China, characterized by its spicy and appetizing flavor, different from Sichuan cuisine.
