Writing Exercise 384 – LAZY MODE Today was the second day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. It has been rainy and chilly since the Chinese Lunar New Year’s Eve. I felt like I was in a lazy mode. I did not go to bed until 1:30 am last night and I did not get up until noon today. Actually, I was woken up around 9 am by noises from outside. However, I ignored it and fell asleep again. After getting up, I spent more than an hour making lunch. It was almost 3 pm when I had finished the meal and washed up the dishes. In other words, my day had nearly run out. It is always good to stay home in the cold weather, but I could not. I ordered some food on some group-buying websites, so I had to go to the delivery station in our community to collect the items. If I had not taken the food, I would not have had enough food to make dinner. In the end, I was reluctant to put on my coat, socks and shoes just to go outdoors for the food. Written on the evening of the second day of the Chinese Lunar New Year.
