You could simply say "the re-release of [+ title], but your listener might not understand. To make it clear, you might have to say the title and then explain that it's a movie that came out out last year but has now been re-released.

The movie is coming out again and I plan not to miss it.

Your ‘I’m planning to see X that’s being re-released this month.” is ok but it’s not a common occurrence and could be confusing. Another possibility is: X is going to be in the theater again later this month. I’m going to see it. I want to see it on the/a big screen. Most films move from the big screen to streaming, where they’re watched on home devices. My suggestion concentrates not on watching the film, but on the way of watching it - in a movie theater.
