I have a question.
I'm planning to see a movie that's being re-released this month.
It originally came out last year, but they're showing it again.
How can I naturally say 'I'm going to see the movie since it's being re-released' in everyday conversation?
Thank you so much!

Hi!
What is the name of the film? So are they going to re-release a film in the cinema that they had already released?

Sometimes there just isn't a way to say something briefly that clearly conveys all the information you would like it to. You could simply say "the re-release of [+ title], but your listener might not understand. To make it clear, you might have to say the title and then explain that it's a movie that came out out last year but has now been re-released.

Your ‘I’m planning to see X that’s being re-released this month.” is ok but it’s not a common occurrence and could be confusing.
Another possibility is:
X is going to be in the theater again later this month. I’m going to see it. I want to see it on the/a big screen.
Most films move from the big screen to streaming, where they’re watched on home devices. My suggestion concentrates not on watching the film, but on the way of watching it - in a movie theater.
