1a Is not a sentence. It is a noun phrase. 1b Makes no sense 1c Is a sentence and makes a kind of sense, but is not grammatically correct. The section after 'after' must be followed by present simple or by present perfect - 'after you manage to' or 'after you have managed to' Only 2a and 2c are grammatically correct. The other two are incorrect. 2a and 2c differ slightly in suggestion. 2a suggests the visit was intentional - Bob needed to visit his aunt first. 2c does not suggest that.
