An international car-free day could be an effective way to reduce air pollution. Obviously/ Naturally, we won’t achieve a result quickly, but with time I believe we will reach success. I’m convinced that one day only can’t change the lifestyle of people, but if we observe this day regularly, at least once a year, it could be successful. This is because I think that if this event gained notoriety, it would gain important political influence, which I guess would start a huge avalanche in popularity because the media would report about it. Additionally, social media would soon promote it, so people would discuss the benefits of a car-free life. Consequently, they might reduce the time they drive their cars, or if not, they might change to an electric car to reduce air pollution. In my opinion, in the long term it would be effective to hold an international car-free day around the world. After all, we only have one world and so we should share these opportunities to care for it wherever we can .
