I believe sex sells, but am NOT in agreement with it.   If you are trying to sell perfume, there is no need at all to have a half naked woman in the magazine advertisement to sell it.

I also believe advertising is only effective when it reaches its target market.  A non smoker, will not look at any advertisment for cigars, as they are not interested in them.
