- give a party.

- have a party.

- hold a party.

I think "throw", "hold", "give" are used by a host. "have" is used by a host and invited people.

But yea all of those would be said by the person hosting the party if you are just coming you just say I'm going to a/the party

Hahaha yea they all are the same we use them interchangeably so any of those are fine

To my little understanding...to have a party is often used by the host when the party is actually for the host or groups or organizations.

Throwing a party is been used the host or hosts when the party is for someone else

I’m not quite sure. but I think they are maybe synonymous
