How percent of your character would change if you got born in another country?

I was thinking that if I were born in another country, how similar would I be to Sepideh...Maybe even my wishes would change in such a situation...

I imagined myself in America and suddenly imagined another Sepideh with a different character, wishes, major, hobbies, goals,...The same thing happened with the Netherlands, Africa, Russia, Sweden, Finland, France, Canada, Japan, China, India, Italy, Mexico, Turkey, etc...

But what do you think? how much does the location of our birth change our current character, wishes, goals, major, etc? Or do you think the main aspect of your character would be the same and it doesn't matter where have you were born?

I believe in the nature and nurture argument. We are ourselves both from some inate element and from all the interactions with everything surrounding us. So we really are "all brought up by a village".

Hence, in every country I would have been a different person.

I think lager half of the person are build from the environment. Because when I look sometimes to the people from different countries, I think they are from the other planet. And if I were born in different country (espessially with different religion), I would be a completely different person. It's very dependet on the country itself.

I believe that our characters are effected 50%by inheritance or nature (not only in our shapes also our characters) and another 50%by the location or environment where we born and lived However I think character would be changed 60 or 70% If I was from or born in another part of the world

Everything in our lives changes and effect us and our characters we can’t deny it.

It is a very interesting idea. I had sometimes dream about my another life in a new country.

I like being in competition with something or somebody. In my small village, I had no opportunity to develop my physical skills from an early year. I liked to play in different games and rival with other children. If I had better conditions of training I would be a good sportsman.

In another country, my life would develop in a different way but the character probably would be the same. On the other hand, breeding could have a different influence on my life. Traditions, religion, and a background could change my value system and priorities.

Maybe I could be a quite another person.

We tend to consider this as an adult and believe we would not be overly affected. I have lived in other countries and I do not think it has had a major influence on my personality, although it has certainly influenced me to an extent. However, we must not lose sight of the fact that as a child we are far more impressionable and if, as you suggested, I had grown up in a different culture I think it is really hard to assess how big an impact that would have had on my way of thinking about many issues.
