The interesting point is that arabic was in the mid age widely spoken and used in foreign places like eastern Asia India Persia in Europe Spain portugal south france Sicilia Malta but now it collapsed,her area is in only restricted places called arabic world.

But till now we see its effect of the past

For example Farsi in Iran is written in Arabic letter

Urdu in Pakistan and India is written in Arabic letter

Malta language now simillar to arabic and to arabic dialect in north africa.
