I have been watching Le Petit Nicholas and will soon read a book too, I like the style. I really like Hercule poirot so I am listening to it in French on youtube and will also read a French version of the book. Merci for helping me to make a plan:)

I, myself, learned about the books of Balzac and Zola, of which I hadn't heard about before ;)

I digged up a book I had for my French literature A-levels, which describes 100 key books of French literature (there are plays and poems too). Most people know at least a few of them, so it can be a good start ;)

N° 105 = <em>Un Amour de Swan</em> is novel that includes music and painting  as a theme.

I was wondering if there any good stories about French painters or atisans? I am very interested in Art. Maybe short stories or histories online that are good for beginners?
