Italki, Merry Christmas!

Here in Venezuela, most people put up a Christmas tree and a manger which represents the birth of Jesus, this generally is done by Catholic people.

In my house, this is a custom and every December I am in charge of decorating the Christmas tree and building the manger, in fact, I love to do it because it is a great time to enjoy with my family.

This year, our manger is small but I think it is beautiful (of course, I built it, hahaha it is a joke).

The next picture shows my Christmas tree, manger, and shows me putting a house in our manger.

As usual, I have a question, Is building a manger a custom that people do in your country?

Merry Christmas Greciaechenique, no, it is not a tradition here in England, to make a manger for you home. We usually only put up a tree, but outside a lot of churches you can see the mangers.
