ドキュメンタリー「二郎は鮨の夢を見る」を観た感想

日本のお寿司屋さん「すきやばし次郎」についてのドキュメンタリー映画「二郎は鮨の夢を見る」を観ました。その感想を英語で書いたのですが（http://www.italki.com/entry/430904）、日本語でも同じものを書いてみようと思います。日本語の文法、言葉の使い方的に間違いがあるようなら訂正して下さい。

Growing up in Japan, I have had sushi dozens of times in my life, and I think I can comfortably say that I can distinguish good sushi from not-so-good sushi. However, after watching the documentary, it made me think twice about what "sushi" really is. I usually go to a cheap sushi restaurants serving sushi with a belt conveyer (kaitenzushi). Though Jiro seems stoic, his dedication and passion for not just sushi but the culture of food from the ingredients to the atmosphere of the restaurant motivated me to become someone who can be proud of the job you do.

日本で育ち、今までにたくさんお寿司を食べてきたので美味しいお寿司とあまり美味しくないお寿司の区別はつけられると思っています。ですがこのドキュメンタリーを観た後、「寿司」とはなんなのかということを再度考えさせられました。普段私は安い回転寿しへ行くことが多いです。二郎さんはストイックに見えますが、彼のお寿司だけでなく食文化、素材からお店の雰囲気までへの思い入れと情熱には訴えるものがありました。私も自分の仕事に誇りを持てるような人になりたいと思わせてくれる映像でした。
