I'm the same with Korean. I can write at a much higher level than what I can speak. When I write I can think and I have time to remember the word I want or the grammar (Korean grammar is sooooo difficult sometimes!), but when I speak I forget SO many words! It's embarrassing! 😳 I think you're normal. It happens to all of us learning languages. I try to just laugh at myself when it happens but I know it can be frustrating. Just keep trying. You can do it!
