Young people mostly listen to German rap. Check out e.g. Apache 207, he just dropped a new album and is huge atm. Other German singer/rappers/songwriters are Cro, Mark Foster, Juju, Trettmann..... bands are e.g. Annenmaykantereit, die toten Hosen,... I guess you are searching for music to learn German so I won't suggest any house/electro/techno tracks bc. there is no lyrics. it really depends on your music taste and what genre you prefer!

If you are a rock fan I would definitely recommend you Rammstein.
