Sophie

I can't say enough how great Sophie is! Sophie is easy is always prepared. At our last lesson, I couldn't remember what I wanted to learn, but Sophie, not skipping a beat, began teaching me useful day-to-day Japanese. She taught me other grammar points as well and by the end of our time, she had managed to tie all of the grammar points together! It seemed so effortless on her part. I love that she uses a spreadsheet to show me the grammar points I missed. My Japanese has improved quickly because of her teaching methods. She's incredible.

Sophie さん was extremely kind, patient and understanding. She helped me with my exam and assessments enormously and put in the extra time and effort to teach me on the topics I didn't know or understand in the textbook that I provided. I wouldn't have received great grades without her! I strongly recommend her! ありがとうございました！

Sophie-sensei's conversation classes are absolutely fantastic! Sophie-sensei is able to lead the conversation well even when speaking with a beginner, and I'm also able to learn many interesting facts about Japanese culture. I also love how she organizes our conversations into a spreadsheet and types out everything in kanji and katakana so that I can review it later. I'm looking forward to taking more classes with her.

I always did conversational classes with her and today was my first class for practicing for interviews. I can see improvement from day one! She explained to me well what things to prepare for the questions and what homework I need to do myself. I am looking forward to doing more classes like this with her. It was a very good lesson. I learned a lot of new vocabulary words.

Sophie sensei was very helpful. She made notes of mistakes I made and sent this to me later. She also and gave me advice what materials to use and how to use them.
