Han Ssam 한쌤

I have been taking classes with Han Ssaem consistently and I still very much enjoy his teaching style. I feel encouraged to keep learning and that I am continuously progressing. I feel like his method of not having you study a lot of grammar to begin with but rather learn it in a more organic and natural way is actually making it stick better. 감사합니다!

I've tried 20+ iTalki teachers, but Han Ssam's passion for teaching and his resourcefulness remains UNPARALLELED! 在我试过的20多名老师中，Han老师绝对是准备最充分的老师之一。I always walk away with better comprehension and more motivation to improve my Korean after each class. He's dedicated about preparing a customized curriculum, extremely fun and patient, puts a lot of care in his teaching methodology, and simply very personable! Our classes always fly by and feel very stress-free, but learning a lot at the same time. Han Ssam is a great teacher. He explains his teaching strategy for language acquisition, and the tools he’ll be using, right from the beginning. He speaks clearly and I really like that he starts clarifying in Korean first. He uses pictures and repetition to get you there. It’s amazing how much you will understand. In a pinch, he can explain in English. He’s enthusiastic and has good energy. I highly recommend him!

Learning Korean with 한쌈 has been an incredible experience. His teaching style is truly unique and highly effective. 한쌈 focuses on real-world conversational fluency, ensuring that I can confidently use the grammar we learn in everyday conversations. He’s incredibly attentive to mistakes, always correcting them on the spot and revisiting them until I’ve truly mastered them. 한쌈’s use of the TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) method makes learning engaging and memorable. Through this method, I’ve not only learned the language but also retained it because it’s integrated into interesting stories. Every lesson feels like an immersive experience, leaving me more confident and excited about speaking Korean. If you’re looking for a teacher who will truly help you achieve conversational fluency, I can’t recommend 한쌈 enough! 🌟📚

HanSsam is a great teacher! He is both patient and fun. His focus is conversation, which I started with at a beginning level. I couldn’t read, and only knew how to say “Hello”, “Goodbye”, and “Thank you”. After about 6 lessons, I have some flow in my ability to speak sentences/answer questions. (which feels wonderful)! He gives me his videos to practice with and also makes an audio file of the sentences we spoke during the lesson. I find this incredibly helpful. I don’t have to worry about taking notes and I can give the conversation with him my full attention and effort. Apart from him being a skilled teacher, he brings great energy to the lesson. I look forward to each one and I’m always smiling after it!

한쌤 has such an amazing teaching method that helps you improve so so quickly. I started taking online lessons to improve my speaking. I can now confidently say that my korean speaking is 100x better all thanks to 한쌤's accomodating, productive and supportive teaching methods!! - if you need a teacher to help give you that helping hand in improving your korean, 한쌤 is the perfect choice. thank you so so so much for always working so hard to be the best teacher, it shows in your classes :-)
