It's a relief to have someone who speaks the dialect closest to my grandfather. There are so many dialects in California, and then book teachings are often done in Spanish from Spain, so my tutor understands my confusion over dialects, making the lessons more straightforward to digest.

Nancy has been teaching me for a few months now. Before I started, I felt pretty stagnant in my abilities and now I have seen so much improvement since I started taking lessons with her in February. She is really patient, helpful and funny. When i've gotten frustrated with myself she is really encouraging. It feels like she has a genuine interest in my progress and it has made learning so much easier and more fun. I highly recommend her!

I appreciate the teacher's calm manner. The class's visual and interactive content is super helpful. I am gaining confidence in my skills quickly! I understand that the teacher can answer questions. I am easily confused between slang words and proper Spanish, which we have discussed, which has helped me master the language wonderfully. The classroom is engaging with slides and speaking practice.

My first lesson was so fun. I felt nervous about learning Spanish with a native speaker. The lesson/tutoting session was organized, engaging, and fun! I appreciayed hpw Nancy Marcela Solis was able to gauge my level and pace of learning. She helped with answering questions that were of major concern such as if I was being too informal. I am in the process of learning Spanish to help people in the health industry. I appreciated that Ms. Solis was able to explain a formal business approach versus a friend of family approach with Spanish. The lesson was broken down to digestable parts that were not over whelming to follow. My lesson time went by incredibly fast.
