I have been having lessons on and off with Mati for over a year. When I first contacted her I was rather demanding and told her exactly how I would like our classes to be and explained the reasons I had stopped having lessons with other teachers in the past so that she would not make the same mistakes. Almost to my surprise, she accepted the challenge and agreed to tutor me. She was very patient, flexible and did everything I asked. I now feel so much more relaxed and confident when speaking Spanish and I really enjoy our lessons! Mati is an excellent teacher and I would highly recommend her.

Clase interesante que tuvimos ayer. Trabajamos más con el superlativo en la forma culta y la forma coloquial, además hablamos sobre el uso de "de lo más + adjetivo", la forma culta es por ejemplo "historias de lo más interesantes" mientras la forma coloquial es "historias de lo más interesante". Se puede adaptar la forma al registro, "presidente: sus bulos son de lo más absurdos" o "chaval: tus bulos son de lo más absurdo".

I really enjoyed my lesson. Matilde was very friendly and she made me feel very comfortable and at ease in the lesson. As I am a beginner we started off with the basics, such as introducing myself, where I'm from and nationalities. It was a very enjoyable and interactive lesson.

La penúltima clase de este año, antes de las vacaciones de Mati. Pareció que los niños de Mati u otros vecinos ya estaban en modo de vacaciones o algo ruidoso. Estos micrófonos modernos pillan demasiado del entorno. O Skype necesita un filtro para cancelar ruido del entorno. El resto de la clase estaba bien, como siempre.

La primera clase después de las vacaciones. Mati ha vuelto con gafas para ver mis errores aún más brillante que antes. Hemos trabajado con el material del nivel C2, esta vez he de admitir que me he sentido algo perdido con un tercio de las palabras de un ejercicio, no las conocía. Suele pasar, una idioma rica tiene más palabras que mi cerebro puede guardar. Pero duele un poco, pensaba que podría inferir más.
