Maria would be an excellent choice if you have children. She is adept with all populations, but is especially suited for children. It is obvious that she enjoys working with them.

I really enjoy my tutoring sessions with Maria. Being so relaxed and more so knowing that she enjoys talking to me, makes me even more comfortable. This has always been my problem before, being very shy to speak Spanish. I can easily do that outside of italki, but have no confidence to do so, whether among strangers (many Latinos around me) or with friends/co-workers. Using this site has been very instrumental in my advancement since last year January and Maria is another teacher of whom I really like and enjoy because I just feel so comfortable speaking with her, I don't think about being nervous, or feeling judged, etc. Instead, I really focus on communicating which has been my issue before. So I'm very happy that I have found her and get to practice with her.
