Hi! My name is Alex, and I live in the United States. I was born and raised here, and my accent is a neutral American accent. I have several years' experience as an English teacher and have been a teacher of other subjects, such as music and drama, for over eight years. When I'm not teaching, I also work as a professional singer, musician, and actor. My favorite food is pizza, I love movies, and I have a very sweet kitten named Simon.

I have years of experience as a teacher, and specifically, several years experience as an English teacher. I've worked with beginner through advanced students and am experienced at adjusting my speaking speed, vocabulary use, and teaching approach to the level of my student. I believe that every learner benefits from a positive and encouraging approach, and I always strive to provide that to my students. My classes are typically relaxed and positive, and I can adjust my approach to suit your needs.

My lessons are typically conversationally based. For children who are beginners or of the intermediate level, I can sometimes provide slides/PPT lessons upon request. If my students have an interest, we can also learn English through singing together. I can provide live guitar or ukulele playing to accompany our singing of popular songs in English. This can be a great way to supplement our learning.
