Ana is by far the best teacher I’ve had on Italki. She’s incredibly professional and really knows how to support and encourage her students while also pushing them to be their best. Even after 60 lessons, our classes are never boring — there’s always something new to talk about or do. She’s kind, funny, and patient, helping me through bad days and motivating me to tackle the harder topics. Her lessons are a great mix of conversation and grammar, and I’ve seen real progress thanks to her. Highly recommend!

I've been having speaking practice sessions with my teacher almost 4 times a week for the past two months, and it's made a massive difference for me. Every session feels natural and friendly. We always find something to talk about, and the atmosphere makes it easy to speak without pressure. She gives me plenty of chances to talk and listen, and what's great is that she encourages me to experiment with new sentence structures and vocabulary, even if I'm not 100% confident. Before, I’d avoid saying words I wasn’t sure how to pronounce ..now I just go for it, and that’s thanks to her support. We also dive into grammar when it comes up, which really helps since I do a lot of self study. Having someone to guide me through tricky points in context makes it all stick better. Overall, my confidence in speaking has improved hugely, and I actually enjoy practicing now.

She is a fantastic teacher. She’s patient and explains things very clearly, which is perfect for someone like me who’s still an early-stage speaker. I really appreciate how she pushes me to speak and improve, but always in a supportive and encouraging way. The lessons are well-structured with interesting topics, and I always feel like I’m making real progress after each session. Highly recommended for anyone serious about learning European Portuguese!
