Learning a new alphabet/script has never been so much fun and without major difficulty! This teacher is absolutely excellent! I cannot recommend her enough.

I've been taking lessons with Dr. Taraneh for a few weeks now and they have been incredibly helpful -- she is an excellent teacher who has always been able to answer my questions and provide useful learning materials to improve my Farsi. She has been very patient and understanding in correcting my mistakes and helping me grow in confidence with speaking, reading, and writing, and has provided interesting cultural context for the materials we read in class. I've been taking classes with Dr. Taraneh for almost a year now and they have been very helpful for my Farsi -- she has been great at targeting the lessons to my level and experience, and balancing introducing new concepts with reinforcing known material. For me they are a mix of question and answer, speaking practice, and learning new grammar or vocab, with great context and examples provided. She is a very patient and encouraging teacher and has helped me identify where I'm making mistakes and how to fix them, and she provides helpful resources and exercises to help me learn. I definitely have become more confident when speaking, writing, and listening to Farsi and I'm able to put together much more complex and varied sentences and talk about a wider range of topics compared to where I was last year. I would definitely recommend Dr Taraneh as a teacher, both to beginners who want to learn Farsi, or students who have experience but want to improve further.
