The lesson with Patricia are fun, but she also knows how to push a student. I find that fundamental especially when you start studying a language from scratch. Do you homework with her, and she'll be able to bring you behing your limit. I had other experiences with teachers (online and in person) and Patricia is by far the most professional one I have met. And, as we know, when keeping professionalism when you are constantly working remotely is non trivial. Moreover, Patricia has proved to be very honest when she could have overlooked certain situations. A subtle difference, though one that brings the conversation on another level. ✌ Very satisfied!

It's difficult to find a language tutor who combines three qualities: advanced language ability, genuinely fascinating intellectual interests across philosophy, literature, business, and many other subjects, and the ability to communicate those interests, and linguistic corrections, in a clear, digestible way. Patricia has all three qualities. She is a fantastic tutor. Our lessons range from grammar to German literary movements. Patricia is exceptionally good at meeting me where I am and shaping discussions around my interests. She is also highly organized and maintains an updated Google Doc to track progress. She prepares materials that are especially helpful with difficult vocabulary. When discussing texts, it is easy to talk about themes and finer points of style because the material clearly captivates her as well. All of this plainly reflects time and effort outside the hours booked, and it makes the lessons themselves all the more worthwhile.
