Hello! I’m a native Japanese teacher with 10 years of experience in language education. I previously owned and operated an English school for children, which has given me deep insights into how young learners acquire a second language.

It was a nice lesson, today we learned more kanji and practiced JLPT. If I had a question or I didn't undestand something then she would explain it to me.

I have completed 11 lessons with Ami sensei and every single one has been really fun, informative, and helped me grow my confidence in Japanese. Whenever I have trouble with anything we're learning, she takes her time and goes over it with me until I feel comfortable. That amount of dedication makes me continue to book lessons with her, not to mention how encouraging she is. I hope to continue working with Ami sensei in my journey to become fluent in Japanese. I would highly recommended Ami sensei to any student who wants a detail oriented, kind, and energetic teacher!
