Chika

This was the last lesson this year, and it was pure joy to talk with Chika-San as always! She is always responsive whenever I have questions about Japanese grammar/vocab or Japanese daily stuff (I’ve learned a lot about Japanese cooking from her). She is also extremely supportive when I share thoughts about my daily life as I’m studying abroad. Our weekly Japanese lesson is definitely one of things that I look forward to the most every week!! I always enjoy talking with her about Japanese anime, manga, and dramas. Plus, my favorite Japanese drama was her recommandation! It’s also fun to talk about social news and cultural differences, as she always offers interesting perspectives and actively responds to my opinions as well. I never expected learning Japanese could bring me so much fun before I started taking lessons with her, and I really appreciate her help and support. ちかさん、今年は本当にお世話になりました！来年もよろしくお願いします🙇🏻‍♀️🫶🏻

Chika Sensei's class is wonderful. She assesses your level, and gives you a very personalized lesson. She has many topics to discuss, and guides you step by step in conversational Japanese! If you are nervous, or hesitant, she is so patient and kind and helps you with any doubts. I absolutely recommend Chika Sensei Her class seemed so short, I can't wait to see her next lesson, and to see her Trivia at the end of the class! La clase de Sensei Chika es una de las mejores clases que he tomado en iTalkie. Ella te contacta de antemano para saber tu nivel y prepara la clase de manera muy personalizada, teniendo mucho material para trabajar, y te guía paso a paso en conversación y gramática de la lengua japonesa haciéndote sentir cómoda y quitándote los nervios. Me encanta su clase, por que es firme, pero a la vez dulce y te motiva a seguir adelante. Súper recomiendo a Sensei Chika! No puedo esperar a tener mas lecciones con ella. Ademá, tiene una trivia al final de clase, muy interesante!

I've been studying Japanese with Chika-san for half a year now and I am very happy and grateful for the progress I've been able to make thanks to these lessons. Chika-san teaches in a fun way with a mix of grammar material and casual conversations. These lessons not only help me increase my Japanese language skills but also provide a good guide for self-study. Chika-san is very patient and friendly and explains everything in a practical way so you can immediately imagine how you could use it in real life situations. Thank you Chika-san for everything you've taught me so far and I'm looking forward to our future lessons. To anyone looking for a teacher I definitely recommend to give Chika-san a chance.

Another great lesson with Chika Sensei. We learned about the history of Japan - Yamataikoku, the first emperor, the (attempted invasion of Mongolia), Sengoku Jidai and much more. So fun and interesting!
