With me we learn English confidently and patiently. It is okay to make mistakes and learn from them. I am Nyalleng Macheli also known as Cheddar and I am from a small country landlocked inside South Africa, called Lesotho in Southern Africa. I am a finance graduate holding a bachelor of commerce degree and a post graduate diploma in financial management from a top university in South Africa. I have worked as a tutor for university students in the university I was enrolled in. Most recently I was working in corporate for a year as an accountant. I enjoy using my spare time to cook tasty meals and read entertaining fictional novels. I am patient with my students and I let them know that making mistakes is nothing but a learning curve. Making mistakes and learning from them allows students to build their confidence and grasp concepts better. I allow students to pretty much pick the pace of their learning without slowing them down too much. I also believe that as a teacher, I can also learn from my students as much as they learn from me. I always keep an open mind. My lessons focus on conversation. grammar and expanding the vocabulary of the student. Learning materials such as flashcards to make the lesson more interesting are used in the classroom. The student can decide if they would like a more standard approach to the classroom and pdfs and presentation slides can be used in conjunction.
