Maria

Maria is a wonderful teacher and one of the best I have had in any language. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Ukrainian. She have a very natural ability to understand your level, your needs, and your progress. She is empathetic to the challenges of the Ukrainian language and she takes you through them slowly and clearly. Her materials are really useful and her knowledge of the language's intricacies is second to none. Morever, she is always punctual, friendly, and so passionate about her students. Thank you Maria! I'm looking forward to learning so much more with you.

Very good conversationalist, lots of knowledge on Ukrainian literature, music, history, and pop culture. Good follow up material provided after lesson.

Today we reviewed some sentences that I had written based on Maria's list of words and phrases from our previous lesson. Then we had a chat and Maria made more notes of the words and phrases that came up. I definitely need more practice speaking Ukrainian, and Maria is one of the very few teachers on italki who offers conversation practice to people at A1/2 level, so I'm very glad to have the chance to speak with her! Outstanding professor. 100% recommend

I really enjoyed my first conversation lesson with Maria. We talked mostly about books, and it was great to learn lots of new vocabulary and to have the time to practice speaking. Maria was incredibly patient as I was trying to form sentences in Ukrainian, and it was a really fun and relaxed session. Дякую за урок! До зустрічі!
