Yuko Sakamoto

During our lessons we talk about many different topics and Yuko-san always manages to make me feel as if I am talking to a friend. she is really patient, has the ability to explain grammar point or vocabulary and makes every lesson fun.

Yukosan is always ready for any topic that comes up. She explains grammatical concepts that arise in conversation and gives examples so we can immediately practise these. I look forward to our lesson every week.

We are using Kanji Study app to study kanji then this translate exactly to Kanji articles in Satori Reader. This means I rarely need to look up kanji when I'm reading as I know the English meaning and I can quickly see the furigans for compound words. The more I can read listen and understand the kanji the more words I can understand and use in conversation. My aim is to speak and converse more. That's my goal. Reading and understanding kanji will help.

I had a ton of fun talking with Yuko-seisei today. She is very easy to talk to, and she adjusts the class pace to match her students' level. I love that she makes suggestions of natural expressions that a native would use. She also suggested how we can further my coversation skills moving forward.
