⭐Herzlich willkommen⭐
My name is Anja, I am 43 years young and originally from Germany.
I am an open-minded, patient, interested and empathetic person and conversionalist. As such i love teaching german 1:1 !
In Germany I worked for many years as a B.A. speech therapist and helped people to communicate. Since I moved to the south-west coast of Portugal, I have used my knowledge and passion for language acquisition to teach German as a foreign language.
Working as a language teacher and pronunciation trainer is very fulfilling for me.
I preferebly spend my free time surfing, doing yoga & meditation, hiking, reading and dancing.

Abschlusszertifikat (certificate of completion) - Aussprachetraining Sandra Kroemer - 2023This training consists of 5 + 3 days theory. For the certificate, a final paper had to be written in which the training content was applied.
Special features of the German intonation and articulation are dealt with in detail and tools for conveying these are trained.
After completing the training, the teacher will be able to apply this knowledge in the classroom or offer special phonetic trainings to help learners achieve better pronunciation.

Ich arbeite mit Anja an meiner Aussprache und bin sehr zufrieden mit den Fortschritten, die ich bisher gemacht habe. Anja arbeitet strukturiert und stellt viel Material zur Verfügung, um gezielt an den Bereichen zu arbeiten, in denen ich Schwierigkeiten habe bzw. hatte – von den größeren bis zu den kleineren. Ihr Feedback ist immer treffend und ausführlich: Es enthält nicht nur Korrekturen, sondern auch Ermutigung und Anerkennung, wenn die Aussprache stimmt. Sie ist sehr geduldig, und man merkt, dass sie ihre Arbeit gerne macht.
Ich kann sie wirklich weiterempfehlen!

Anja est très bien organisée et très patiente. Elle est à l’écoute et trouve toujours de bons exercices sur les points que j’ai besoin de revoir. On sent qu’elle prépare bien ses cours et qu’elle a de l’expérience. Je suis ses cours depuis un an, au niveau C1, et je la recommande vivement !

Anja has helped me a lot with my German pronunciation! Anja has great materials to break down the different sounds in the German language, and she has a very organized approach to teaching and practicing the sounds. I've been meeting with her once a week for only a few weeks, and I can hear the difference. I feel stronger in my speaking and reading aloud.
