Hi! I am Lisa, a professional German as a foreign language teacher (DaF) from Germany. Learning a language, starting all over in a new country or navigating through a different culture can be tough. My aim is to help people feel less lost and more welcome by teaching them about culture & language.

After finishing school I completed a training as a foreign language correspondent and studied German literature, history and philosophy. In addition I did an advanced training to become a German teacher. I have a strong focus on teaching realistic German for every day situations. While speaking German you will make mistakes, sweat a lot, laugh nervously or act awkward. No need to worry about it. Ich kann Lisa absolut empfehlen. Der Unterricht ist immer stressfrei, produktiv und hilfreich. Ich musste meine Sprachkenntnisse für meine B2-Prüfung verbessern und mit ihrem gut strukturierten, ansprechenden Unterricht und ihrer unterstützenden Art konnte ich voller Selbstvertrauen in meine Prüfung gehen. Lisa is a very caring and patient teacher! I was a bit nervous because I haven't really practiced speaking in German, but she was very kind and also her lessons are quite creative (and I think effective! even if it's only been my first lesson), and I can see the effort she put in :) I feel more confident with practicing speaking in German
