Hello everyone,
I am a tutor and language learner and love to share my interests with others and help them get comfortable speaking German in any situation they might encounter in real life. I am very appreciative of people making the effort to learn my mother tongue, so don't worry about making mistakes or taking your time with the language, you will improve with time. I like talking about languages and culture, but am also open for interesting topics you might bring to the conversation.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
I am very patient and understand the struggles of learning a new language as I have spent a couple years on italki as a student myself and continue taking lessons regularly. As a tutor I try to do the things that I have found most useful as a learner. We can speak about what interests you, read texts together or watch videos online and then talk about those. I do want to help you with whatever you need, so we will start by speaking about your goals and expectations regarding the lessons. I do not believe in studying grammar charts or vocabulary lists, but I do believe in improving those areas by gaining a natural understanding of how a language works through listening, reading an speaking. My lessons will focus on your needs and expectations. If you have materials you want to work with, we can do that. Otherwise we will have conversations in a relaxed setting or use free materials online.

First lesson with Jana after a long time without speaking German. She adjusted to my level, providing feedback regarding key phrases while we had a very comfortable conversation about the things we are both passionate about: learning languages! Great first hour.

I really enjoyed the lesson with Jana! It was only the second time that I tried to speak German, so it was quite scary and difficult for me. But Jana turned out to be a very patient and supportive teacher :) She guided the lesson, asked lots of questions to get me talking, and gave me some useful phrases. I felt very comfortable during the lesson! 😊
