I have taken over twenty lessons with Haruna, and I must say that she is a professional, knowledgeable, diligent, and capable teacher. I truly appreciate her careful and patient correction of my grammatical errors and pronunciation mistakes. Haruna has helped me to make significant progress in my study of the Japanese language, and although I am still a beginner, I am confident that with her help I will eventually reach proficiency. I was trying to explain a game to Haruna sensei today and had to dig deep into the well of vocab. It's fun talking with her and trying to piece sentences together. We spend a lot of time talking and it makes me more confident speaking with others.

Though it was difficult to express myself at times, she listened patiently and asked clarifying questions to make sure she understood me. Haruna-sensei adjusted quickly to my level, and I felt that she was very willing to accommodate my requests for the lesson style. She provided useful information in the chat as well. Today we began part two of testing. I can see my latest efforts of studying are paying off. Thanks to Haruna sensei, I was able to have a few conversations when I went on vacation this last week. Even though I have a long way to go, it's nice to look back and see the progress I have made.
